Nola Piece LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“FreshCut,” “we,” or “us”), operates the FreshCut app and website. This policy explains what information we collect through those services, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. Features and data practices can vary by app version and by whether you use the app or website.
Information we collect
- Account and profile: Email address, account identifiers, username, display name, biography, and information you choose to add to your profile. Some app versions may request a phone number or birth date.
- Content and activity: Posts, photos and videos you choose to upload, comments, likes, follows, searches, reports, blocks, and other interactions. Public posts, profiles, comments, and some follow relationships can be seen by others. Copies of content you share may remain with other users.
- Support communications: Messages you send us and information needed to respond to or investigate your request.
- Device and usage: IP address, device and browser information, app version, identifiers, log and diagnostic information, and how you use the service. We may infer an approximate location from your IP address. If a feature asks for device location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo-library access, the applicable device permission controls that access; selecting media for upload gives us the selected files.
- Purchases and promotions: If a version offers a paid feature or promotion, we may receive transaction or participation information from the payment or platform provider. We do not ask you to send payment card details to our support email.
We receive information from you, your device, your interactions with FreshCut, and service providers that help operate the service. Some older app versions may include analytics or advertising technology that collects device and usage information under its own practices and applicable permissions.
How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts; deliver, personalize, and improve FreshCut; host and display content; enable social features; provide support; send service notices and communications you request; process transactions where offered; detect abuse, fraud, and security issues; enforce our rules; and comply with law. If advertising or promotions are offered in a version of the service, information may also be used to measure or present them, subject to applicable settings and law.
How information is shared
Content and profile information you make public is available to other users and visitors. We also share information with providers that host data and media, authenticate accounts, deliver messages, process payments where applicable, measure performance, or help with security and support. Depending on the app version, analytics and advertising partners may receive device or usage information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people and the service, or in connection with a merger, financing, or transfer of the business. We do not treat publicly posted content as private.
Cookies and similar technology
The website and app may use cookies, local storage, or similar technology to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, and understand use of the service. Your browser and device provide controls for some of these technologies. Disabling them may affect functionality. Device privacy and advertising settings may also limit certain tracking or personalized advertising in app versions that offer it.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can edit some profile information in your account and control device permissions in your device settings. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing corporate@freshcut.gg. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including to obtain a copy of your data, object to certain uses, or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising as those terms are defined by applicable law. You can send those requests to the same address; we will honor applicable rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Deleting an account may remove access to your profile and content, but information may remain for a limited time in backups, security records, legal records, or copies already shared with others. We may retain a minimal record of a deletion request to help prevent reappearance of deleted data. Contact us if you need help with deletion in a version that does not offer an in-app control.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate purposes such as safety, dispute resolution, recordkeeping, and legal compliance. The period varies with the type of information and purpose. We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
FreshCut is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact corporate@freshcut.gg so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
